Close to Home

The photographs in these portfolios were created while on daily walks or canoe trips. They are visual note taking. A chance to look at new subjects without the histories and goals that frame my long-term projects. They resulted from a type of undirected play that once led to the first photographs I did at the water’s edge, and that will hopefully lead to news subjects and fresh approaches in the future.
